My dear friend of the past few years, Fee, tagged me in this post, and asked me to do a similar one.

On The Move Again…

Well, the leak we had in our apartment last November reared its ugly head again. This time worse than last time. So, after informing the apartment management, we got upgraded to a “One-Bedroom Deluxe” apartment. The living room and dining room is about twice the size of the last apartment, and it’s got some chocolate colored accent walls. The appliances (Dishwasher and Oven/Stove-top) are slightly nicer. If any of you read my old blog, you’ll know about the process my ex-husband and I went through when we purchased our home…

Oh for the Love…

I have so much shit going on lately that I don’t even know where to begin. I need to write to get it all out, but at the same time, I don’t want to write it all out because I don’t want people to think I’m retarded by being bothered.

I really want to finish the Twilight books, that way I can mark them off and forget all about them. I didn’t want to read them in the first place. I want to get away from supernatural books. I might even adjust my list to take off re-reading the first 9 Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) books by Charlaine Harris. Of course I want to reread the 10th book, and the new one that’s coming out in May, but after that, I think I want to move on.

I have really enjoyed working, and I love the fact that I am earning money! I can start working on my list of things I want to accomplish this year, and pay off my debt. That makes me happy! It’s going to take a while to do it, but it will get done. I was talking to my boyfriend last night, and this summer, depending on how my hours pan out at my job now, if i stay at 20 hours a week I mean, I will get a second part time job, and start putting all of my income from my second job toward bills, or maybe I will save it up so that I can keep it for a rainy day. I dunno. I just need to get it under control. I have even considered going to the bank once I get my first pay check, and seeing if I couldn’t get a loan to pay for the three major cards. I hate my life when I think about the debt and the fact that I left everything to my ex husband. I should have made him pay off my credit cards and left everything else to him. Ugh!

I’m a Poet – Didn’t You Know it?!

I wrote a poem for my hunny for Valentine’s Day and submitted it to the newspaper back home, and wouldn’t you know it, it was published. I would have loved to have it in print, but it was online, and I’ve decided that was good enough.

Twilight or Bust…

Personally, I would rather bust!!! I don’t have the desire to read the series, but I will. They’re on my list of books to read this year.

My dad also told be that he read or saw the movie The 5 People You Meet in Heaven and he enjoyed it a lot. That’s next after Twilight. Before New Moon.

Review 5/5 – Charlaine Harris – Lily Bard Mysteries

What a crazy series of books! This series is a lot different from Charlaine Harris’ other books I’ve read simply because there is nothing supernatural about it. I am not sure about the Aurora Teagarden books yet, since I haven’t started them yet.

Dark Day

Since 2005, every year on February 10th, I have a dark day. It’s an anniversary of an event I don’t feel the need to discuss, but for the first time in years, I have had a happy February 10th. I didn’t fall apart or feel sad. It’s been really good.

I really can’t wait to get my next paycheck, wherever that will be from, because I seriously need a wireless router. I need a way to use the internet on my phone. I want to be able to get email notifications, tweet, and check facebook from my phone. Not being able to text people or call people has been quite a cake-walk, but not being able to facebook, or tweet makes me feel behind in the times, and I don’t like that feeling. Yep, I’m dependent on technology. Hooray me (I could cut my sarcasm with a knife).

Review 5/5 – Mitch Albom – Tuesday’s With Morrie

Meet Morrie Schwartz–a one of a kind professor, whom the author describes as looking like a cross between a biblical prophet and Christmas elf.

I have read this book a few times now, and I have even watched the movie. It makes one rethink some aspects of their lives, and, personally, it makes me tear up. I find inspiration in stories like this, and it helps remind me to make the choices I want to live with for the rest of my life. In chapters about marriage and love, I realized through Morrie’s thoughtfulness, that my recent divorce was the best thing for me. That is a choice I can live with for the rest of my life. This is just one of many issues this books brings one to realize.

I will leave you with a quote from the book that I found quite wonderful…
