I have to say, after this last weekend, and telling my family I was moving home and getting little to no response, I am absolutely appalled.

Been a While

So, I have been a sucky blogger for a while now, and didn’t even complete half of my reading challenge, but I had a pretty decent year for once, so I can’t complain too much.

After making my boyfriend watch all of these films, he even likes them. He made fun of Harry Potter for a decade, and now is never hesitant to watch them with me.

I have gone through my Kindle for Android app this weekend, adding more books, remembering ones I did actually finish reading, or reading new ones and finishing started ones… It’s been busy, and I’ll be busy this week trying to write reviews for the books I have read. Stay tuned!

Slacker McSlacker-face

I haven’ t finished a book cover to cover since, when?! I don’t even remember without looking! I know I had started Water for Elephants, but only read it a little bit that one night, because the next night our friend gave us a TV and we put it in our bedroom so now I watch TV to fall asleep, not read. Shame on me!

Yesterday, I did start reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone again so that I can reread everything before seeing the 2nd part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Speaking of which, Hunny watched the first 6 movies, and part 1 of Deathly Hallows with me this past few weeks, and at the end of part 1, he exclaims, “OH GREAT! Voldemort has the wand now?! When does the 2nd part come out?!” It made me so ridiculously proud. I am happy that after 10 years of avoiding Harry Potter, he chose to watch them with me, and he actually LIKES them!

Well, other than that, nothing exciting going on in my world so I am going to get a move on and read some more. I am waiting for a phone call, and if it comes, that will be a whole post on it’s own!

Happy Day!

Well, the party last weekend was pretty fun, in the grand scheme of things. Hunny enjoyed himself, and we had some good friends show up, so it was well worth it. Hunny has told me repeatedly that this has been his best birthday in a number of years; which makes me happy.

On Tuesday, I will have lived in Reno for a year. I think Hunny considers that our anniversary, even though it took him three months longer than that to consider us anything more than fuck-buddies (to put it bluntly).

I have a lot more than that going on in my life right now, but that is a series of other posts to come later.
